Documentation for M-Pesa Mobile Payment for WooCommerce
M-Pesa Mobile Payment for WooCommerce is a WordPress Plugin which you may add M-Pesa Mobile Banking Payment option as an extra E-Commerce Payment option in your WooCommerce website; and this documentation shows you the proper way to use this Plugin.
This is a WooCommerce based plugin, so the WooCommerce PlugIn must be activated … NOW
Step 1. Upload the PlugIn "M-Pesa Mobile Payment for WooCommerce".
Step 2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > PlugIn > Select the PlugIn "M-Pesa Mobile Payment for WooCommerce", and activate the PlugIn.
Step 3. Now go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > M-Pesa Mobile Banking Payment and setup your necessary settings.
Step 4. Put a tick mark in Enable/Disable option
Step 5. You can edit the text of Title "M-Pesa Mobile Banking Payment" to a minimized or maximized version like
- M-Pesa Banking, or
- M-Pesa Payment, or
- M-Pesa Mobile Payment, or
- M-Pesa etc
Step 6. Type your Mobile no., where you will receive payment. You can also change account type to Business (if you think it necessary)
Step 7. Click on "Save changes".
You can use this PlugIn to receive countrywide payment. Just choose your own currency from WooCommerce Settings
Step 8. Look at the Screenshot above. To receive orders, normally like other orders, Go to WooCommerce > Orders. You will see which payment options was used below Total field.
Step 9. Look at the Screenshot below. Below the Billing Address, you will get Customer's M-Pesa Account No., and TID.
Congratulations! Now you know the way to install and use this WordPress PlugIn !!
Files and Structure
- Don't Change anything inside M-Pesa folder. But if you want to use different type of M-Pesa logo, the go to M-Pesa > images.
- You will find an image m-pesa.png Simply replace it with transparent PNG, and keep the width height 40 Pixel with resolution 100 dpi.
